My name is Trisha Ierston and I am a Spanish speaking, accredited divorce and break up coach. I am also a Chartered, Certified accountant, with nearly 20 years experience in the world of number crunching. I am also a mum, a daughter, a sister, an auntie, a best friend and I make a lovely cuppa! I'm empathetic, caring and a great listener, and I am here to help you on your journey.
I have also been through an acrimonious separation and divorce after a 19 year relationship that went through the courts all the way to the final hearing, for both finances and child care. This gives me first hand, lived experience of how it feels as a wife and a mum so I really, genuinely "get it". I have then raised my children mostly single handed and rebuilt my life from the ground up so all I have learnt and experienced is here to be shared. Getting you back to the life you should be living is my focus.
Hello
My Story
I didn’t have a place to turn to when my own relationship ended. I had the legal support but no clear guidance on how to sit with the silence, manage the unknown, or have the conversations I was afraid to have.
That experience has stayed with me, and it’s what led me here, to provide the space I once needed — calm, compassionate, and focused on clarity during separation and divorce.
I bring both personal and professional understanding to this work. I’ve lived through an unhappy marriage, the trauma of making the decision to leave, the end of a marriage, supported my own children through divorce, navigating finances and raising children alone. I know how layered this experience can be — the grief, the confusion, and the instinct to stay quiet to keep the peace.
Alongside this, I have over 20 years’ experience working as an accountant, 7 of these as a forensic accountant for a family lawyer, specializing in supporting people who have taken the bold step towards building a better future and stepping away from a situation where silence often felt like a form of safety.
Much of my work centers on difficult conversations, facing uncertain realities . I help people find words when they’ve learned not to speak, express their needs clearly, and listen with intention — whether they’re navigating separation, lone parenting, co-parenting or ongoing communication with an ex-partner.
A large part of my work focuses on the finance in divorce framework and I can help you to save thousands by getting your finances and forms in order and a clear, calm and clear perspective with a full understanding of how it all works before you even walk in to your solicitors office. I will also guide your through the financial side of things and assist with the various forms and stages with a clear and professional mind.
As an accredited Sara Davison Divorce & Breakup Coach, I support both men and women to rebuild confidence, set healthy boundaries, and begin again with a stronger sense of self.
